Who are Camden LINk?

LINk stands for Local Involvement Network a network of individuals, voluntary organisations, faith and community groups, who will work together to both improve local health and social care services and influence change where necessary.

Local Involvement Networks (LINks) were introduced under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007.

What Will Camden LINK Do?

The LINk will seek out local opinions, investigate issues raised and work to improve all health and social care services in its community by ensuring the voice of local people is heard by the Commissioners and Service providers. An example of some of the health and social care services covered.

How will Camden LINk Work?

Camden LINk will work by engaging with local people, community groups, and voluntary organisations, complementing and supplementing their existing activities and using its statutory powers to influence relevant policy makers.

Why should I get Involved?

Sometimes its difficult for people to get the health or social care services they need, where and when they want them. What would make things easier for you? Anyone, who wants their voice to be heard, can join.

If you have a view, your local LINk needs you.

There are many ways you can participate and its up to you how and when you get involved.
